Cancellation Policy Spa Days & Treatments
At the time of booking your spa day the full payment is required to secure the reservation. This payment is non-refundable, however, should you wish to cancel and provided you have given 48 hours' notice, the payment will be kept for 12 months to allow you to re-book at a later date. Should cancelation be made less than 48 hours prior to your arrival date, no re-booking will be permitted. Multiple amendments to existing bookings may be subject to an administration charge.
Spa Breaks
At the time of booking a deposit equivalent to the first night's stay will become payable as confirmation. This deposit is non-refundable, however, should you wish to cancel, the
deposit is fully refundable until 28 days prior to the booked arrival date. Changes following this time, and up until 48 hours prior to arrival, the deposit will be held on your account for 365 days to allow you to re-book your stay for a later date.
Changes within 48 hours of arrival will result in the deposit being forfeited as a cancelation charge.
Some Saturdays are subject to a minimum of a two night stay. All offers are subject to availability and can be withdrawn at any time. All prices quoted are based on two adults sharing a standard room. Prices will vary depending on date and type of bedroom.
Children
SenSpa is strictly an adult only spa. All health club and spa facilities, including the swimming pool and the Zen Garden Restaurant are for use by those aged 16 years and over.
Children aged of 3 years old or under can stay overnight at Careys Manor for free using existing beds or your own travel cot. Children under the age of 16 years old, sharing a room with adults will be charged at £35 per person per night including breakfast. Any type of extra bed or baby cot is upon request and needs to be confirmed by the hotel.
Children under the age of 7 years old are not permitted to take dinner in Cambium Restaurant, however, children are welcome at Le Blaireau.
Spa Etiquette
We find many of our guests enjoy their day more when they have allowed plenty of time to travel to us, avoiding any possible traffic congestion or delays.
Lunch in the Zen Garden is informal and you may wear your bathrobe, Thai pyjamas, fitness wear or other clothing.
We respectfully request that spa guests show consideration to one another by keeping noise to a minimum in all areas of the spa. For your own enjoyment we request that mobile phones are not used in any area of the spa.
Health and Safety
Management reserves the right to restrict access to certain facilities on occasion that Health & Safety may be at issue. No glasses, food or crockery to be taken into the poolside or hydrotherapy areas, gym or studio. Plastic cups and mugs are available for use in these areas.
The pools and wet areas are unsupervised and are used at guests’ own risk.
The swimming pool is 1.1 metres at the shallow end and 1.45 meters at the deep end, pool depth signs are displayed within the pool hall. The hydrotherapy pool is 1.35 metres deep.
Every guest is strictly required to shower before entering any of the pools. 75% of bacteria is removed by simple showering.
Running, jumping or diving are not allowed.
In the event of an emergency, there are identifiable pool alarms within the pool hall to raise the alarm.
Clothing
We kindly request that members and guests wear appropriate clothing at all times, which includes wearing swimwear in the hydrotherapy pool, poolside areas and thermal treatment rooms (e.g. sauna and steam rooms etc.) Appropriate footwear should be worn in the gym and for fitness classes. Please bring your own non-slip pool shoes to wear in wet areas. Or you can purchase a pair at spa reception. Hotel slippers are unsuitable for wet areas.

Although we aim to provide the best quality and availability of treatments and therapists, we cannot guarantee in any way the effectiveness or availability of a particular therapist or treatment during our opening hours.
